Dr. Scalcione received his undergraduate degree from New York University, where he graduated with honors. He completed his medical degree at Mount Sinai School
of Medicine. He finished an internship in General Surgery at the North Shore-LIJ
Health System in NY and a residency in Radiology at Winthrop-University Hospital
where he was chief resident. Dr. Scalcione completed his subspecialty training in
Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of California San Diego where he
trained with world-renowned Dr. Donald Resnick. Prior to joining Clarity Radiology, Dr. Scalcione worked as an academic musculoskeletal radiologist at the University of
Arizona for over 2 years in which he published many papers on topics in
Musculoskeletal Radiology and Orthopedics.
